Sri Lanka, July 5 -- Horana Headquarters Police have arrested a suspect along with two individuals in possession of stolen property, following the theft of a stock of modern mobile phones worth nearly Rs. 2.3 million.

The arrested suspects include a 48-year-old resident of Grandpass, Colombo, and two others who were found in possession of the stolen goods for the purpose of selling them.

According to the Police, the main suspect carried out the theft in the early hours of June 24, breaking into a mobile phone shop and a cafeteria located in the Horana town.

Police stated that they were able to identify the suspect's location following a ten-day investigation involving the analysis of mobile phone tower data and CCTV camera footage.
