Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Speaker Dr Jagath Wickramaratne is scheduled to present the Supreme Court's determination on the proposed 22nd Constitutional Amendment to Parliament today (22).

The Speaker's Office confirmed that the Supreme Court handed over its determination to the Speaker yesterday.

The Speaker is expected to formally inform Parliament of the decision during today's sitting.

Meanwhile, the government has decided not to proceed with the second reading debate of the Institute of Chartered Media Professionals Bill in Parliament.

The debate had been scheduled for tomorrow from 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
