Sri Lanka, June 29 -- A suspect was arrested with ice narcotics during a raid conducted by a group of officers from the Wellawaya Police Station near the Wellawaya town.

A stock of ice narcotics was also found in the possession of the suspect by the police officers. The suspect is involved in drug trafficking in the area, according to the police.

The arrested suspect was scheduled to be produced before the Wellawaya Magistrate's Court, and the officers of the Wellawaya Police Station are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
