Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- The Supreme Court determination regarding the 22nd Constitutional Amendment Draft Bill will likely be presented to Parliament by the Speaker during the parliamentary week commencing today (8), according to reports.

Concluding the examination of petitions filed challenging the 22nd Constitutional Amendment Draft Bill, the Supreme Court announced on the 3rd that its confidential determination regarding the constitutionality of the draft bill would be forwarded to the Speaker of Parliament.

Accordingly, after the relevant decision is received by the Speaker, the decision will be announced before Parliament.

Parliament is scheduled to meet from today until the 11th.
