Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- The Supreme Court determination regarding the 22nd Constitutional Amendment Bill has been forwarded to the Speaker of Parliament, Minister Susil Ranasinghe announced.

According to the Minister, the Speaker is expected to present the determination to Parliament next week. Meanwhile, the second reading debate on the 22nd Constitutional Amendment Bill is scheduled to be held in Parliament on 24 and 25 September.

Furthermore, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya has organised a protest against the bill on 24 September at the Polduwa Junction in Battaramulla, themed '24 against 22'.
