Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- Several SriLankan Airlines flights were cancelled due to ash clouds created following the eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau in Indonesia.

Flights scheduled to operate today (07) from Colombo to Jakarta (UL 364) and from Jakarta to Colombo (UL 365) were cancelled, according to an announcement.

Operations at several airports, including the main airport in Jakarta, Indonesia, were temporarily suspended due to ash emitted from the volcano.

Numerous international flights were disrupted as a result.
