Sri Lanka, June 1 -- An 18-year-old Sri Lankan young woman has died on the spot after a dispute between two groups at a private bar in Chennai, India.

The dispute escalated, leading to an incident in which a group of young men allegedly rammed the girl's motorcycle with a car.

The victim has been identified as Yancy, a Sri Lankan refugee residing in the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu.

Indian Police, who have filed charges in connection with the incident, have arrested three suspects: 21-year-old Balamurugan, 19-year-old Joshua, and 19-year-old Kishore Kumar.

According to police reports, the altercation began inside the bar while Yancy and her friends were dancing later got involved into an argument with another group of young men. ...
