Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- Sri Lankan academic Professor Sudath Shirley Pathmasiri Warnakulasuriya has been named the recipient of the Princess Srinagarindra Award 2026, an internationally recognised distinction in nursing, in acknowledgement of his contributions to nursing education and global healthcare.

The Ministry of Health said the award is presented annually to one individual or group of nursing professionals worldwide in recognition of exceptional contributions to the profession.
