Sri Lanka, May 11 -- Sri Lanka focuses on attracting premium tourism investments and internationally recognised hotel brands to strengthen the hospitality sector and enhance long-term industry value.
Deputy Tourism Minister Ruwan Ranasinghe told an industry event in Colombo on Friday that the sector recorded significant progress through partnerships with private investors and stakeholders over the past year. He noted that the government encourages new investment proposals and international collaborations to enrich the tourism portfolio and improve accommodation quality.
