Sri Lanka to hold first National Research Conference on Youth Development
Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya will inaugurate Sri Lanka's first National Research Conference on Youth Development tomorrow (16), with proceedings set to run for two days until September 17.
The conference will commence at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow at the National Water Supply and Drainage Board auditorium in Ratmalana, followed by academic panels and discussion forums scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and throughout September 17.
Organised jointly by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Open University of Sri Lanka, the initiative aims to identify the potential of the country's youth, engage them in sustainable national development, and gather data for youth development programmes.
