Sri Lanka, May 17 -- The International Monetary Fund scheduled the 27th of May for its Executive Board to consider the fifth and sixth reviews of Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility programme.

Its approval will help Sri Lanka to unlock around USD 700 million in funding.

Board approval for both reviews will enable Sri Lanka to access the sixth and seventh tranches under the facility.
