Sri Lanka, Aug. 16 -- A latest survey conducted by the Pew Research Centre revealed that Sri Lanka holds the most favourable view of India anywhere in the world, rated at 79 percent.

"Ratings of India diverge dramatically among its neighbouring countries, ranging from 79 percent favourable in Sri Lanka to seven percent favourable in Pakistan" the Pew Research Survey review stated on its official website.

The survey was conducted from February 8 to May 13, among adults across 36 countries for the assessment.

The survey stated:

"In addition to Sri Lanka, opinions are most favourable in Kenya and the United Kingdom, where around seven-in-ten adults view India favourably. Majorities in Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Japan and Thailand al...
