Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- The report containing recommendations from the medical board appointed to look into the health condition of Shiranthi Rajapaksa, wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, is scheduled for submission to the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today (16).

Director of the Colombo National Hospital Dr Sampath Indika Kumara confirmed receiving the report.

Accordingly, the report will be submitted to court today through the Commissioner of Prisons, he said.

The Director General of Health Services recently appointed this special medical board comprising 14 specialist doctors.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered on the 13th to remand Shiranthi Rajapaksa until today.
