Sri Lanka, April 16 -- Special bus and train services remain operational today, April 16, for people returning to Colombo and other main cities after traveling to villages for the festive season.

Normal office train services resume today, according to Railway Superintendent of Transport Asanka Samarasinghe.

Additionally, plans are in place to operate approximately 50% of private buses today, stated Gemunu Wijeratne, Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association.
