Sri Lanka, April 18 -- A special train service is in operation for people returning from their hometowns after the New Year.

Sri Lanka Railways states that this service is available for today (18) and tomorrow (19).

The Railway Department arranged these special trains to run from Anuradhapura, Kankesanturai, Matara, and Beliatta in addition to the normal scheduled trains.
