Sri Lanka, June 19 -- A special traffic arrangement will be implemented around Ambalangoda tomorrow (20) due to a street procession (perahera) organised by a temple in Urawatta, Ambalangoda.

Police said the special traffic plan will be in effect along the Galle-Colombo main road in the Ambalangoda area from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow.

The procession will begin from the Urawatta junction, proceed along the Galle Road, pass Hirewatta Buddha statue, and continue via Mahawatta Road into Ambalangoda town.

It will then return to the Urawatta area via the same junction.

Police have advised motorists using the Galle Road during this period to use alternative routes.
