Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- A special traffic plan will be implemented within the Ambalangoda police division tomorrow (01) and the day after due to the annual street procession of the Modara Devalaya in Ambalangoda.

The Police Media Division announced that the procession will parade the streets tomorrow from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and the day after from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am the following morning.

During the procession, traffic on the Colombo-Galle main road around Ambalangoda will be restricted, and police have advised drivers to use alternative routes.

As these alternative routes are narrow, police have also requested motorists to use the Southern Expressway whenever possible to minimise traffic congestion.
