Sri Lanka, July 4 -- A special dengue prevention operation commences tomorrow, July 5, covering 22 high-risk zones across the Western Province.

This decision followed a discussion held today (4) at the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat on measures to control the current dengue situation.

Representatives from the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, the National Dengue Control Unit, the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment, the Sri Lanka Police, the Sri Lanka Army, the Sri Lanka Navy, the Sri Lanka Air Force, and the Department of Government Information attended the discussion.
