Sri Lanka, July 23 -- A person was injured in a shooting near the Kuppiyawatta cemetery in Dematagoda.

The injured person has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, Police said.

Two unidentified persons arriving on a motorcycle have carried out this shooting and fled the scene, police added.
