Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- Former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa, currently in remand custody, will not be taken to a private hospital in Colombo today (08).

The Department of Prisons stated that a decision was reached regarding this.

The suspect was produced before a specialist doctor at the Prison Hospital today.

Prisons Media Spokesman and Commissioner of Prisons Senaka Pallethanne stated this.

She will be produced before a specialist doctor at the Colombo National Eye Hospital tomorrow (09), the specialist doctor indicated.
