Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- The father of the alleged drug trafficker Shiran Basik was further remanded until the 22nd.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order today (8) when the case against him was taken up for hearing at the Hulftsdorp Magistrate's Court.

He was recently arrested by the Central Crime Investigation Bureau under money laundering charges.

It was revealed that Shiran Basik purchased a house worth around Rs. 30 million in a luxury housing complex located in the Gampaha area, and it was purchased under his father's name.
