Sri Lanka, June 12 -- The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today (12) that Ishara Sewwandi, who was arrested and detained for questioning over allegedly aiding and abetting the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa, will be held for a further 30 days for questioning.

The order was issued following submissions made by the Colombo Crimes Division regarding the case.

The CCD informed court that the previous 30-day detention order obtained for Ishara Sewwandi expired today, and a fresh 30-day detention order had therefore been secured.
