Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Attorney-at-Law, Dr Ajith Rohana has met with Inspector General of Police, Attorney-at-Law Priyantha Weerasooriya following his retirement from the Sri Lanka Police, concluding a 38-year career that began as a Sub-Inspector of Police.

A special meeting was held at the Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of the Inspector General of Police to extend congratulations, which Ajith Rohana attended alongside his family members.

Born in Kanampella, Kosgama, Seethawaka, Ajith Rohana pursued his higher education at Ananda College, Colombo, before joining the police service as a Sub-Inspector on 15 March 1988.
