Sri Lanka, July 30 -- A 13-year-old schoolgirl receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the Kandy Teaching Hospital died today (30) from severe injuries sustained when a three-wheeler travelling from Nallathanniya to Maskeliya veered off the road near the Mohini Falls area on July 22, according to Nallathanniya Police.

The deceased was identified as Selvam Dishna, an eighth-grade student at St. Joseph's College, Maskeliya, residing at Lower Division, Murray Estate, Nallathanniya.

Members of the same family were travelling inside the three-wheeler when the incident occurred.
