Sri Lanka, June 22 -- The Secretary General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Golam Sarwar, met Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya before departing at the end of his tenure.

According to the Prime Minister's Media Division, the courtesy call took place today (22) at the Temple Trees.

The Prime Minister warmly welcomed the SAARC Secretary General and appreciated his service in promoting regional cooperation and advancing the objectives of the SAARC organisation.
