Sri Lanka, March 9 -- The replica of the highly revered Nadungamuwe Raja tusker, officially designated as a national treasure, will be unveiled tomorrow at the National Museum of Natural History in Colombo. Sanoj Kasthuriarachchi, Director General of the Department of National Museums, announced that the public can view the lifelike restoration of the tusker starting the day after tomorrow (11).

Once known as the tallest tusker in Asia, Nadungamuwe Raja was a central figure in the Sri Dalada Maligawa elephant troupe, recognised for his immense discipline.
