Sri Lanka, April 8 -- The Pettah Central Bus Stand, modernised with the labour contribution of the Sri Lanka Air Force, was handed over to the public a short while ago. The renovation of the two-terminal facility was completed at a financial cost of Rs. 424 million.

Upgraded facilities feature a ground-floor bus yard, a second floor providing rest areas for drivers and conductors, and a third floor housing administrative and operational services.
