Sri Lanka, April 14 -- A record revenue exceeding Rs. 600 million was collected by the Sri Lanka Transport Board from the 9th until yesterday (13).

SLTB Chairman Sajeewa Kanagaratne informed Hiru News that under the New Year transport services, a revenue of Rs. 213 million was earned on the 11th alone.

The Chairman further stated that the deployment of buses from outstation destinations back to Colombo will begin tomorrow afternoon and continue until 21.
