Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Temporary structures erected in front of the Presidential Secretariat demanding the release of Venerable Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera were removed by the Maha Sangha, and the monks who remained at the location subsequently moved near the Ministry of Buddhasasana.

Commenting on this, Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thera stated that although they went to court to present issues following the protest in front of the Presidential Secretariat, no suitable legal action or permission was granted today.
