Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- Monks on the Nidahase Pada Yathra are continuing their protest after two officials from the Presidential Secretariat who came to meet them asked for a month's time.

The monks then staged a protest, demanding that they be given a week instead.

However, the two officials were seen leaving while still asking for a month.

The monks at the location are still protesting.
