Sri Lanka, March 20 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address Parliament today (20).
Government sources stated that the President will brief Parliament regarding issues arising within the country due to the war situation in the Middle East and the solutions taken to address them.
Meanwhile, a decision was made during the party leaders' meeting held yesterday (19) to conduct the debate on the no-confidence motion presented by the opposition against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakodi on the 10th of next month. The opposition handed over this motion to Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne yesterday with the signatures of 36 Members of Parliament.
