Sri Lanka, May 19 -- Funds allocated this year for new projects of the Urban Development Authority must be properly utilised within this financial year, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated.

The President indicated this during a discussion held with Urban Development Authority officials at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (18).

New projects planned by the Urban Development Authority were discussed at length during the meeting, and the President pointed out the need to properly utilise the funds allocated this year for these projects within this financial year itself.
