Sri Lanka, April 8 -- New duty stations for 436 medical officers who applied for post-internship appointments were announced today (08) by the Ministry of Health and Media.
These officers must report to their assigned government hospitals or health institutions across the island between tomorrow (09) and the 11th.
The Ministry of Health noted that these placements aim to meet medical requirements throughout the country.
The assignment process followed a transparent and scientific method, based on the merit list and the specific preferences submitted by the medical officers during the application process.
