Sri Lanka, March 4 -- Officers of the Traffic Division at the Dambulla Headquarters Police managed to locate and return a high-value mobile phone belonging to a young Swiss teacher within a few hours of it going missing on a passenger bus.
Gian Muller, a 28-year-old Swiss national currently touring Sri Lanka, traveled from Kandy to Dambulla on a private bus bound for Anuradhapura.
Upon disembarking in Dambulla town, he discovered his Apple iPhone missing and notified Police Sergeant (46389) U. K. Nihal, who was on duty nearby.
The Sergeant immediately used the contact number on the tourist's bus ticket to reach the bus owner and obtain the contact details of the driver and conductor.
