Sri Lanka, Sept. 5 -- Peanut farmers in the Mahaweli H zone in Tambuttegama, Anuradhapura are facing hardship due to the lack of a proper price for their produce.

They stated that they cultivated after purchasing a kilogram of peanut seeds at a high price between Rs. 800 and Rs. 850.

However, they say that they receive a very low price between Rs. 300 and Rs. 350 for a kilogram of peanuts produced.
