Sri Lanka, April 15 -- A patient receiving treatment at the Nagoda General Hospital in Kalutara was arrested yesterday (14) for allegedly sexually harassing a female doctor.
The suspect is a resident of the Mahagama area in Agalawatta.
He had been transferred from the Pimbura Hospital in Matugama to ward number 22 of the Nagoda General Hospital yesterday afternoon for treatment related to epilepsy and excessive intoxication.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred when the doctor approached the suspect to check his blood pressure.
The suspect allegedly touched the doctor's chest, prompting her to reprimand him.
