Sri Lanka, Sept. 1 -- A 30-year-old man has died following a shooting incident carried out by two unidentified motorcycle-borne gunmen in the Koshena area of Payagala, Kalutara, last night (31).

The deceased, a resident of the area, has been identified as "Dila", who is reported to be the brother-in-law of alleged organised crime gang member "Panadura Nilanga".

According to the Police Media Division, the victim was rushed to the Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara after sustaining gunshot injuries, where he subsequently succumbed to his wounds.
