Sri Lanka, March 10 -- Over 4,129 individuals from 1,359 affected families continue to reside in 49 safety centres more than three months after Cyclone Ditwah, the All Island Disaster Relief Service Officers' Professional Association stated.
The cyclone impacted more than 2.4 million people.
The government has yet to prepare a formal plan to resettle the individuals currently staying in these camps, Palitha Upul Kumara, President of the All Island Disaster Relief Service Officers' Professional Association, mentioned.
