Sri Lanka, May 12 -- A fish harvest exceeding 35,000kg was obtained from the Udawalawe reservoir, according to the National Aquaculture Development Authority.
The authority stated that this harvest was collected on the 9th and 10th, generating an income of Rs. 10,909,393.
Steps were taken to send a significant portion of this fish stock to the Negombo area for the production of dried fish.
