Over 1,000 family health service officers receive appointment letters
Sri Lanka, Oct. 4 -- A total of 1,056 newly trained family health service officers received appointment letters at a ceremony held today (04) at the Temple Trees premises under the patronage of the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, following the completion of a successful and formal one-and-a-half-year training program.
The Health Ministry stated that these newly appointed officers will be deployed to hospitals and healthcare institutions managed under provincial councils and the line ministry across the island.
