Speaking at a media briefing, Energy Minister Anura Karunathilaka confirmed that the pricing adjustments will follow the standard end-of-month review cycle. Amid volatile global oil trends driven by supply disruptions and geopolitical tensions, the government plans to implement a direct relief measure of Rs. 70 per litre specifically for diesel.
