Sri Lanka, April 8 -- Train services on the Northern Line, previously disrupted by Cyclone 'Ditwah', resume operations tomorrow (9), according to the Sri Lanka Railways.
Several additional trains join the schedule along the same route to accommodate commuters during the Tamil New Year season.
The train from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai begins its journey from the Mount Lavinia station at 5:15 AM tomorrow (9).
Furthermore, the Rajarata Rejini and office trains, which previously terminated at Maho, resume normal operations to Anuradhapura starting tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Transport Board launches a special bus service tomorrow for passengers travelling to their hometowns for the New Year festival.
