Sri Lanka, March 19 -- No-confidence motion against Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody was handed over to the Speaker today (19).

Opposition MPs submitted the formal document following an earlier announcement by Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunathilake regarding today's filing.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and a group of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) members, alongside other opposition representatives, signed the motion.
