Sri Lanka, March 18 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) will implement a fuel rationing system based on the final digit of vehicle license plates beginning tomorrow (19).

According to the CPC Chairman, this measure aims to organize distribution amid the ongoing energy crisis.

Vehicles with license plates ending in an even number or zero are eligible to obtain fuel on even-numbered calendar days.

All other vehicles with odd-numbered endings can purchase fuel on odd-numbered days.
