Sri Lanka, Sept. 3 -- Sajeewani Dilka Lakmali Karunanayake was sworn in as a new judge of the Court of Appeal before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today.

She previously served as an Additional Solicitor General at the Attorney General's Department.

The President's Media Division stated that the swearing-in ceremony took place at the Presidential Secretariat.
