Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has urged President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to take appropriate action over allegations concerning the Presidential Secretary, saying a response would demonstrate the Government's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Addressing a public meeting in Kuliyapitiya on August 22, Rajapaksa said the President had repeatedly pledged to combat corruption and called on him to demonstrate that commitment by addressing the allegations.
