Sri Lanka, Sept. 12 -- Strongly criticising the conduct of the current government and the prevailing political situation, Jaffna District Member of Parliament Ramanathan Archchuna emphasised that the victory of Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa in the upcoming presidential election is certain.

"I will say, whether you like it or not, in 2029, whatever is done, Mr Namal Rajapaksa will definitely become the President," the Parliamentarian stated.

Stating that he was born in the North and lived there for 40 years, and that he always stands together with the Sinhalese people, MP Archchuna expressed that he would support Namal Rajapaksa to build the country by uniting the people of the North and the South.
