Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa is scheduled to appear before the Fort Magistrate's Court today (23), as the case concerning alleged financial irregularities and money laundering linked to the acquisition of Airbus aircraft for SriLankan Airlines is taken up again.

Rajapaksa, who was named as a suspect by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the allegations, was previously remanded until today.

The remand order was issued by Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena.
