Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- The Colombo chief magistrate's court has scheduled a hearing for tomorrow (28) to consider a bail application filed on behalf of MP Namal Rajapaksa, who remains in remand custody over the alleged 'Krrish' transaction.

Filing the motion, president's counsel Ali Sabry requested the court to consider submissions made during proceedings in the separate 'Airbus' transaction case, which was heard before the 'Krrish' case.

Presenting his arguments, Sabry cited the health conditions of Rajapaksa's parents, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, 81, and Shiranthi Rajapaksa, 74, as grounds for consideration.
