Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered today (13) to remand Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa until the 27th, who was arrested and remanded by the Bribery Commission in connection with an investigation into the Airbus deal.

This order was issued as no exceptional facts were presented in court regarding the suspect.

The Bribery Commission was also ordered to file indictments against the suspect immediately and report to the court.

The Deputy Solicitor General informed the court that steps will be taken to file a joint indictment sheet regarding this investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department and the Bribery Commission.
